3 year anniversary of sorts...

Good or bad, on Conner's b-day I always remember an anniversary of sorts regarding Geoff's liver. 3 years ago (approximately) I was being induced @ 38 weeks pregnant "just in case" Geoff was headed into the hospital for his second liver transplant.

Although the transplant never happened, I will always remember that time in our lives. I/we are still very grateful for the miracle that my family witnessed.

It's hard to believe we entered that journey 3 years ago.....so much has happened since then. The Dunkle family is in a different place these days. A work-in-progress.

You are such an inspiration to me and I'm sure many others. My fiancé is now at the top of the transplant list with a score of 25. We were told to start preparing. He was diagnosed at the age of 27 and is now 35. We have a little girl who turns 8 next month. Our life has been at a halt for many years, and we are praying fir a normal life soon. So happy that your husband is doing well!! Please feel free to contact me, I would love to keep in touch. As I can tell from your blog, we are a lot alike!! Bless you and your family!! Amanda
