A little stat for all my fellow blog readers:
Back in April when this journey started there were roughly 1900 people waiting for a liver transplant in Region 4 (Texas and Oklahoma). Currently, there are approximently 1700 waiting in region 4.
So, at least they are doing transplants. I was beginning to think that the doctors were still on their fabulous summer vacations.
