Nothin wrong with a little Jesus

Ava went to Vacation Bible School this week and had a GREAT time. Sadly, this is really one of her first experiences at church. We totally suck as parents when it comes to the religion thing. Every Sunday we talk about doing a better job (I promise Pastor Don), but somehow we continue to eat breakfast and read the paper.

See if you can find Ava in the pics below.

I love how Ava is always done up perfectly - from her clothes to her hair. I work one or two nights a week at a hallmark shop and I notice that most children I see look like little rug rats. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it's refreshing to see a child that is well groomed. I LOVE dressing my girls and combing their hair. My favorite thing is to make them match. I am cherishing these moments where I am still in charge of their wardrobe and hair do's....I know it won't last forever. I bet once Alexandra starts school she'll start getting her own opinions about fashion.

I think it's wonderful that you have Ava going to VBS. I am glad that she had such fun. I bet she will start making sure that you are there every Sunday :)

Sorry, this turned into a very LONG comment. Have a great weekend Erin!

I bet Ava had so much fun at VBS!

You guys are welcome to come along with us to church one Sunday. We go to First Baptist Frisco and absolutely LOVE it! Our pastor is awesome and the children's programs are great. And it's a young church with lots of young families :)
